Quidditch Australia is proud to present the eighth annual Australian national quidditch tournament. QUAFL – The Australian Quidditch Championships 2018 will run between the 6th and 10th of December.
After the hosting both of the previous two years at the AIS, QUAFL is continuing its migration around the country, this year settling in the warm and vibrant Sunshine Coast for this year’s iteration of the biggest tournament in Australia.
In December, up to 30 teams teams from around the country are expected to make their way to the Sunshine Coast. Hosted by the prestigious University of the Sunshine Coast, QUAFL 2018 will decide this year’s Australian quidditch champion. QUAFL represents QA’s premier event and serves as the culmination of the 2018 season. QUAFL 2018 will also see the return of the highly anticipated Wheelchair Quidditch Championship, to be hosted in the lead up to the main QUAFL tournament, as well as several other pre-and post-tournament events to ensure this will be an event not to be missed.
Quidditch is a full contact, high intensity, mixed gender sport that is rapidly taking the world by storm. This event is free for spectators and more information, including a spectator guide, will be available closer to the event.
