For all of you in Melbourne who want to know how the Snitch works, what the different colour headbands mean and whether it’s the same amount of points through each hoop, the Victorian Quidditch Association is pleased to announce its official Come and Try Quidditch Day!
Everyone is welcome to come along and give quidditch a go! There’s no obligation to join a team on the day, but there will be two teams recruiting:
The Northern Direwolves Quidditch Club – one of the VQA’s newest teams, who just played their first season in 2013/2014’s Victoria Cup and secured their first win in our current tournament, the Easton Shield.
The South Melbourne Centaurs Quidditch Club – the newest team in Victoria, who are playing their first tournament in Easton Shield.
Make sure you wear clothes and shoes you can run around in, bring sunscreen and water.
Brooms, quaffles, bludgers and snitches are provided!
