Just north of Lake Isabella, the Headquarters campground is a lovely spot on right on the river. It is flat and at this time of year there there only a few other campers. Our site was literally a few feet from the river so at night the rushing water was very comforting. The wildlife was abundant especially the birds and at night there is no road traffic.5/5(1)
