Individual Memberships 2020
Quidditch Australia Membership for individuals for the 2020 calendar year is open to all individuals and falls into the following categories of membership. Returning members, please take note that there have been some changes to our membership categories so read the following carefully to select the option which suits you best.
Club Player Membership: $60
Membership for individuals associated with a Quidditch Australia affiliated club.
- Personal injury insurance coverage for all QA sanctioned events, both club and non-club based, and eligibility to participate in ranked matches for your club at QA sanctioned events.
- Club players are eligible to participate at the Australian Quidditch Championships with their club.
- Club players are eligible for selection for their state’s respective representative teams and for national selection to the Australian Dropbears.
- Subscription to QA Newsletter
- Annual Membership, from date of membership purchase to December 31st 2020
Social Player Membership: $45
Membership for individuals who are not affiliated with a club and/or who are not playing in club matches.
- Personal injury insurance coverage for non-club competitive events such as Fantasy tournaments, as determined and sanctioned by Quidditch Australia.
- Insurance coverage for officiating or volunteering at Quidditch Australia sanctioned events, both club level and other.
- Ideal for non-playing coaches, team managers or volunteers.
- Social players are not eligible for selection to their state’s respective representative teams and for national selection to the Australian Dropbears.
- Social players are not eligible participate as a player at the Australian Quidditch Championships.

Trial Membership: $10
For NEW playing members of Quidditch Australia, a trial membership offers those who have never held Quidditch Australia membership the opportunity to be covered for a 30-day period before they are required to upgrade to annual membership.
- Personal injury insurance coverage for all QA sanctioned events, both club and non-club based, and eligibility to participate in ranked matches for your club at QA sanctioned events for a 30-day period.
- Please note, due to the structure of some state’s leagues, the state association may place a game limit on this membership within the 30-day period.
- Trial players are not eligible for selection to their state’s respective representative teams and for national selection to the Australian Dropbears.
- Trial players are not eligible participate as a player at the Australian Quidditch Championships.

Non-Player Membership: $5
For non-players who wish to keep up to date with the association! Quidditch Australia are striving to meet our membership requirements to be recognized as a National Sporting Association. Your $5 membership contribution will go directly to funding our NSO Recognition campaign.
- Personal injury insurance coverage not offered. Due to this, these individuals are not covered to hold an on-field volunteer position, such as referee or snitch.

Upgrade Pathways
All Memberships can be upgraded to a higher level of coverage. Memberships cannot be downgraded. If an individual holds a trial membership, at the end of the trial period they may upgrade their membership to a higher coverage or elect to purchase a Non-Player Membership for $5.
